We
are Bob and Linda McCue. We live in rural Ottawa, Ontario Canada
with 5 acres of roaming space.
Our first dog was a wonderful Old English Sheep Dog
called "Mr. Mugs". He became a member of our family when our two
sons were very young. Scott was five and Starr was a few months
old. He was always great with them and was a wonderful companion
and friend to all who knew him. When he left us at the old age of
fourteen we began our search for a smaller breed of dog with all
the same qualities we loved in him.
Our search ended when we discovered the Tibetan Terrier.
We got our first TT "Taiga" a gorgeous gold and white affectionate,
energetic character. He was such a delight we became addicted and
added two more puppies to our family.
First came "Keisha" a charming little reddish gold
vixen with a heart as gold as her colour. Later came "Tikki" a champagne
gold and white little angel who flies like a gazelle around our
house.
All of our adults have achieved their Canadian championships.
Having had dogs and other animals all our lives a
house full seems just right for us.
Taiga, Keisha and Tikki were bred by Joyce Ayotte
at Bootiff Kennels in Plattsburg, New York. Joyce has been breeding
since 1980 and is our friend and mentor and has been a valuable
source of advice since we began breeding.
We have been involved with showing, training and
breeding since 1990. We participate in Conformation, Obedience (as
participants and trainers), Fly Ball and other dog related activities.

We typically have 1 or 2 litters per year.
All our dogs have annual checkups and vaccinations
and are checked for eye diseases each year. Testing for Hip Dysphasia
is done at the age of two.
We only breed dogs that are genetically mentally
and physically sound.
We feel that temperament is most important. The puppies
are socialized with adults, children and dogs and are home raised
in a family environment. We like to keep the puppies until 10 to
12 weeks old to ensure the above socialization takes place.
We may let the puppy go slightly sooner if the owners
are experienced and are able to continue the socialization. We feel
it is very important to match the personality and temperament of
the puppy with the preferences and lifestyle of their new family.
Linda is a retired school teacher who’s full time
occupation is caring for the adult dogs and puppies. Bob works in
Electronic Engineering by day and is dog lover and careperson nights
and weekends.
We care about the dogs we breed for their lifetime
and make ourselves available for information, advice and help. If
at any time for any reason the owners can no longer care for the
dog he can always come back to us. We love to hear from our puppies
and their families and are ecstatic when we receive a picture of
one of our little ones.
