Every spring and every fall, natural instinct draws them to Churchill, as it has for hundreds of years... for generations. The white whales, the belugas, come to swim at the mouth of the Churchill River, in the month of May. Sometimes they get captured by man. The white bears come in October, to wait for the ice to form on Hudson Bay... so they can set out on their winter-long arctic trek. Sometimes they get captured on film. |
