Gibber's quilt: double bed size, quilted professionally by Signature Quilts. This quilt was given to my sister's boyf, Gibbers, (real name John but called Gibbers to distinguish from my John) after he underwent heart surgery. It was one of my earlier quilts, using a log cabin block with a burgundy centre, put together to make an overall light and dark diamond design, with a diagonal strip border. I tried to use only flowery material (though stripes, plaids and dots also crept in). The border was paper pieced.
