I'll open this with a little preachin'.

I feel that if the people are safe then guns are safe. A loaded gun can sit untouched for a hundred years and not hurt anyone. As soon as it is touched by somone it becomes a dangerous weapon. Especially if that someone has had no training in the safe handling of a firearm. Please Note: I do NOT advocate leaving a loaded gun anywhere.

These are my opinions only. I do not speak for the EOHC or the IPSC.

'Nuff Preachin'

I have been a member of the Eastern Ontario Handgun Club since 1990. I enjoy the action shooting discipline that is taught and practiced there. It is a nice outdoor club with 3 ranges. We practice and compete in International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC) style shoots. The club has several hundred members that enjoy going out to 'make a little noise' and try to place that shot exactly where they want it on the target. When you combine that with being timed, and competing with several other shooters, it can be an exhilarating afternoon.
